4K Collaborative Program with DC Everest
NCES: St. Mark, five day, 4K TUITION FREE program is offered in partnership with the DC Everest School District. Classes are taught by experienced, licensed teachers specializing in early childhood education. Children must be 4 years old by September 1st to enroll in the 4K Program.
Monday – Friday Schedule
Morning 4K Session: 8:00am until 10:40am
Optional AM Religion Class: 10:40am until11:00am
Optional PM Religion Cass: 11:40am until 12:00pm
Afternoon 4K Session: 12:00pm until 2:40pm
The NCES: St. Mark’s 4K DCE Community based program is dedicated to providing a high quality, developmentally appropriate learning experience for all four year old children. Students will learn and explore in a safe and nurturing environment under the guidance of caring teachers. The program’s planned activities are designed to expand emerging language and number skills, as well as, promote social and emotional growth. Research shows that children with preschool experiences begin Kindergarten more ready to learn. The program’s Creative Curriculum is a widely regarded preschool curriculum approach that honors creativity and acknowledges the important role that teachers play in making learning exciting. This program is aligned with the Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards. Students receive consistent learning experiences in the areas of Literacy, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Language Development, Social-Emotional, Cognitive Development, Physical Development, Art, English Language Acquisition, Gym, Music, Library, and Religion (optional).
To register for a Newman Catholic Schools 4K program within the DC Everest School District, both Newman Catholic Schools and DC Everest registrations must be completed and returned to the 4K site of your choice.

REGISTRATION OPENS FEBRUARY 1, 2021
Step 1 Visit the 4K registration tab at www.dce.k12.wi.us on the left side of page
Use the “New Student Online Registration” link. Please use a computer or laptop
as mobile devices such as phone and tablets are not supported.
Before you begin, gather the following:
Household information – address and phone numbers
Parent information – work and cell phone numbers, email addresses
Student information – demographic and health/medication information
(including birth certificate and immunization records)
Emergency Contact – addresses and phone numbers
Complete and submit the online form.
Step 2 Once your child is fully registered on the DCE site, you will have to register with
Newman Catholic Schools. Visit the Newman registration page to start your

Step 3 A fee for the Optional Religion Class shall be paid by August 1, 2021.
Step 4 You will receive registration confirmation from NCS.
Wrap Around Care
As part of our service to families, and as an extension of our philosophy, NCES: St. Mark offers an optional, Christ-centered Wrap-Around Care for students in Preschool and 4K. Wrap-Around Care begins at 6:30 a.m. and concludes at 5:30 p.m. Our Wrap-Around Care Program offers students a safe, happy, and well-supervised environment when they are not in their regular classroom setting.
