• 4K Collaborative Program - DC Everest Registration

    NCECC: St. Therese, five day, 4K TUITION FREE is offered in partnership with DC Everest School District.  Classes are taught by experienced, licensed, teachers specializing in early childhood education. The inter-district public school open enrollment program allows parents to apply for their children to attend public school in a school district other than the one in which they reside.  For more information: WI DPI OPEN ENROLLMENT

    Monday - Friday

    Morning Session: 9:00am until 11:40am
    Afternoon Session: 12:30pm until 3:10pm

    In a community based 4K program, a licensed teacher implements The Creative Curriculum For Preschool which is aligned with the Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards as well as with the Common Core State Standards to provide consistent learning experiences in the areas of Literacy, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Language Development, Social-Emotional, Cognitive Development, Physical Development, The Arts, and English Language Acquisition. 
     
    Classroom time includes: Exploration/Breakthrough - Calendar and Weather - Phonics Soup Sounds and Activities - Story Time - Math - Phonics and Literature - Pre-Reading skills - Writing - Art - Science - Social Studies - Whole Group Activities - Gym - Music - Library. St. Mark 4K program offers an optional religion program.

    To register for Newman Catholic Schools 4K program within the DC Everest School District, both Newman Catholic Schools and DC Everest registrations must be completed and returned to the 4K site of your choice.

    REGISTRATION OPENS FEBRUARY 8, 2021
     

    Step 1           Click on the link for DCE, www.dce.k12.wi.us 
                            Use the “New Student Online Registration” link on the left side of the page.
                            Please use a computer or laptop as mobile devices such as phone and tablets
                            are not supported.

                            Before you begin, gather the following:
                                   Household information – address and phone numbers
                                   Parent information – work and cell phone numbers, email addresses
                                   Student information – demographic and health/medication information
                                   (including birth certificate and immunization records)
                                   Emergency Contact – addresses and phone numbers
                                   Complete and submit the online form

    Step 2             Once your child is fully registered on the DCE site, you will have to register with
                            Newman Catholic Schools. Visit the Newman registration page to start your

    Step 3               A fee for the Optional Religion Class shall be paid by August 1, 2021.

    Step 4               You will receive registration confirmation from NCS.
