Faith in Education
Established in 1951, Newman Catholic High School has a strong tradition of teaching the total student and allows you to explore and deepen your faith. This unique educational program, designed for students in grades 9 - 12, blends a variety of educational experiences which support the developing young adult. Newman teaches the total student academically, spiritually, physically and socially.
With a student to teacher ratio of 15 to 1, each Newman student receives individual attention from our caring and talented teaching staff. This unique learning environment, along with a rigorous academic program, has resulted in a great story of student success. Newman students consistently score above the national, state and local averages on the American College Test (ACT) and other standardized tests.
Typically over 93-97% of Newman students continue their education at a post-secondary institution of their choice. Students are encouraged to develop their talents in a challenging environment by taking honors classes and Advanced Placement courses that offer testing for college credit. Last year over $200,000 in college scholarships was awarded to graduating Seniors.
