Newman Catholic Schools has three elementary school locations that all operate with one mission in mind - to provide excellence in education in a Catholic environment and enhance the personal and spiritual growth of our students to meet life's challenges.

Our teachers and staff help students grow by guiding their development and reinforcing the values parents teach at home. Our aim is to prepare children to be leaders in the community and in our Catholic Churches

We integrate Catholic values into all areas of our students' development. As a Christ-centered faith community, we believe that students should be able to participate in daily prayer and weekly liturgy celebrations. We also teach our students about the Sacraments and our Catholic beliefs in daily religion classes.

We realize that all students learn differently, so our teachers use a variety of teaching methods. Our students learn to read using phonics and a whole language approach. They learn about math, science, and other subjects through cooperative learning and self-paced education. To build on what is taught in the classroom, we take educational field trips to add another dimension to our students educational experience.

Students in our schools learn basic computer skills beginning in Kindergarten. They also receive instruction by licensed teachers in vocal music, physical education, and art. Students in Grade 5 can take an optional Band class and join an organized basketball team with their classmates.

With Faith in Education, Newman Catholic Elementary School will give your child the solid educational and spiritual foundation they need to succeed in today's world.
