Master CalendarNCS SCRIP Fundraiser Program
Scrip is a nationally recognized fundraising program. Retailers sell gift certificates and gift cards to NCS Scrip program at a discount. NCS Scrip program sells the gift cards at full face value, and cards are redeemed at full face value. The profit supports programs throughout NCS and also family tuition rebates, and parish investment credit.
Scrip may be used for everyday expenses like:
Groceries
Gasoline
Clothing
Restaurants
Household Needs
Scrip is offered by hundreds of local and national retailers ~ where most of you already shop.
With every purchase, you earn revenue for Newman Catholic Schools and reduce your tuition bill.
Does your household budget include the following expenses?

The profit is divided 60 / 40, as an incentive for families to use the program.
40% is made available to assist in payment of NCS tuition. Tuition rebates are calculated and issued annually in April.
40% as a Fundraiser to support programs throughout the entire system.
20% administrative cost to cover the expenses of the program.
2010-2011 scrip sales were $1,271,963.00! Profit was $54,294.00 of which $21,700 was reimbursed as family tuition rebate!

NCS Scrip Office is located at Central Office, 619 Stark Street, Wausau. According to IRS regulations, the profits made from the program are exempt from income tax when the number of volunteer hours is at least 85% of the total number of hours it takes to run the program, therefore office hours are dependent upon volunteers, and subject to change.
