The 2009 Newman Catholic Fall Sports season will go down in school history as one for the record books. Our volleyball program had one of its most successful and exciting seasons in NCHS history. The team ended the season in the WIAA D-4 championship game in Green Bay, WI as state runner-up. Thank you to all involved for your support -coaches/players/parents. A special thank you to all the senior girls and families for your time and dedication to the sport. Below is a quick rundown of all success stories.
VOLLEYBALL: 2009 WIAA D-4 STATE RUNNER-UP; WIAA Regional and Sectional Champs; Numerous girls on the All Marawood South Conference 1st/2nd/Honorable mention teams; All State Honorable Mention - Andrea Schuster; WIAA STATE Team Sportsmanship Honorable Mention; Wausau Daily Herald Volleyball Coach of the Year -Betty Lange.
