The Envirothon Team is a small group of interested sophomore through senior students, who study and prepare to participate in the state Envirothon competition which is held each spring. Envirothon is a hands-on academic competition where teams comprised of five students are tested in four natural resource subject areas; forest, soils, aquatics, and wildlife. Students are also given an oral topic for which the team prepares and presents a 10-minute talk. Students who commit to being on the Environthon Team for three years are able to earn high school science credit.
