Overview
Conservation club offers many opportunities for student involvement in their natural environment. The club focuses on recreation, service, and education to grow in greater appreciation of the world around us.
Many of the Club’s activities focus around the Rudolph Environmental Forest (REC), the NCS school forest. Members may participate in yearly clean-ups, cookouts, snowshoeing and cross country skiing in the winter, capture the flag, tree planting, and monitoring wood duck houses. Through a multi-faceted approach, students grow more aware of their role in the natural environment.
