Newman Catholic Schools Tuition Assistance and Scholarship Programs
We encourage each family concerned with tuition costs to review the following opportunities.
Direct Financial Aid Programs
Scholarships
SCRIP Purchases
I. Direct Financial Aid Programs
The majority of aid available to help families with tuition expenses is through the three direct financial aid programs listed below. Families interested in direct financial aid are required to submit a financial aid application. Deadline for the financial aid form is April 1, 2011. There is a $25 non-refundable application fee. Applications are available through request at the Central Office, school office or may be completed online at: www.factstuitionaid.com. Though applications are accepted after the deadline, the amount of the award may be less if the application is received after the deadline. Applications for this type of aid are forwarded to a professional third party company for review and award recommendation. Awards are based solely on financial need. This process ensures confidentiality and impartiality, and is similar to how colleges distribute aid. For more information contact Coleen Krasowski, Business Manager at Newman Catholic Schools Central Office 715-845-5735.
NCS Annual Fund Appeal/Phonathon Assistance Program
Silent Cardinal Program
Southeast Asian Tuition Program
NCHS Work Study program
1. NCS Annual Fund Appeal/Phonathon Assistance Program
Restricted donations are received to be used to support those families that might not be able to afford a Catholic school education. Donations from alumni, parents, past parents and friends of Newman support scholarships available to NCS students.
