I. Direct Financial Aid Programs
The majority of aid available to help families with tuition expenses is through the three direct financial aid programs listed below. Families interested in direct financial aid are required to submit a financial aid application. Awards are based solely on financial need and confidentiality is maintained throughout the application and award process.
NCS Annual Fund/Phonathon Assistance Program
Silent Cardinal Program
Southeast Asian Tuition Program
NCHS Work Study program
1. NCS Annual Fund/Phonathon Assistance Program
Deadline for the financial aid form is March 1, 2008. There is a $20.00 non-refundable application fee. Applications are available through request at the Central Office, school office or may be completed online at: www.factstuitionaid.com. Though applications may be accepted after the deadline, the amount of the financial aid may be less. Applications for this type of aid are forwarded to a professional third party company for review and award recommendation. This process ensures confidentiality and impartiality, and is similar to how colleges distribute aid. For more information contact Coleen Krasowski, Business Manager at Newman Catholic Schools Central Office 845-5735.
